Meet the Beyond EAP Team

Beyond EAP was founded in 2014 by Sandie Dennis, in response to a clear gap in traditional employee support: the need for specialist, human-led services that address complex life challenges within a workplace context.

Sandie is a highly experienced Coach, counsellor and EMDR therapist with advanced specialist training in trauma, loss, and bereavement. She is also a recognised speaker in the field of employee mental health and workplace wellbeing, with additional training in areas such as nutritional psychiatry and applied neuroscience.

Alongside her clinical credentials, Sandie brings a senior corporate background, giving her deep insight into the realities HR teams manage every day. Her work bridges empathy and operational understanding — ensuring employee support is not only compassionate, but also practical, sustainable, and aligned with organisational needs.

Most recently, Beyond EAP expanded its coaching provision to include Post-Diagnosis Health Coaching — a service developed in direct response to the gap employees often experience following a significant health diagnosis.

This programme was born from Sandie’s own lived experience of navigating new health challenges, and reflects Beyond EAP’s belief that early, specialist intervention can be pivotal — not only in personal recovery, but in enabling employees to remain connected to work and move into the next phase of their lives with confidence.

Beyond EAP services are delivered by a dedicated team of trusted specialists, including Jane Mitchell, Parental Coach and Employee Support Specialist, and Jane Smart, Parental Leave Coach. Together, the team brings decades of experience across high-performing private and public sector environments supporting employees through some of life’s most challenging moments.

We work collaboratively, to rigorous professional and ethical standards, ensuring every employee receives consistent, high-quality care — regardless of role, seniority, background, or working pattern.

Specialist Employee Support, Delivered Seamlessly

Beyond EAP provides fully bespoke employee support services, designed to integrate smoothly with your existing HR frameworks.

Each employee is supported by a nominated specialist, ensuring continuity, trust, and accountability. Support can be delivered wherever and however your workforce operates — on-site, remotely, across time zones, or while an employee is on leave.

Confidentiality is central to our service. No personal or clinical details are shared with employers. HR teams receive anonymised, high-level insights only, enabling informed organisational decision-making while helping shape organisational wellbeing strategies.

Our services are intentionally flexible and responsive. We scale in line with organisational growth, legislative change, and internal policy developments. Where circumstances shift suddenly — such as overlapping life events, health diagnoses, or extended absences — existing support programmes can be adapted quickly to minimise disruption and maintain progress.
